This special concert features the acclaimed husband and wife duo of pianists Bill Charlap and Renee Rosnes (two pianos, four hands).
Bill Charlap is a Grammy Award nominated Blue Note recording artist. He was a regular in Gerry Mulligan’s band and is a frequent guest of the Phil Woods Quintet; for the last three years, he has been the Artistic Director of Jazz In July, a six-concert series at the 92nd Street Y's Tisch Center for the Arts. Renee Rosnes is a four-time Juno Award winner and a Blue Note recording artist with nine albums under her name. She has been the pianist for Joe Henderson, Wayne Shorter and JJ Johnson, among others, and is a founding member of the SF Jazz Collective.
